UPDATE: The new version of iOS 8.1 will give you back the old Camera Roll.  Thanks to all the users that had complained incessantly and to Apple who listened to their users!  Please do upgrade to get the Camera Roll back.   Did you upgrade to iOS 8 and found out 'with horror' that [...]
